Hey Medic,

Yup, submarine warfare in WWI & WW2 was the equivalent of guerilla warfare at sea. Nowadays in Pentagonese: Asimetric warfare. While reading accounts of the North African campaigns (years ago) I've run into several references by officers on both sides commenting on the similarities between sea and desert operations.
