excel4004, there are more than 8000 modified and added files in TWoS and I'm certainly not a computer...
It's impossible to hold in head all files purposes and dependencies, if you understand what I mean. In short, people should decide between megamods and their own custom modlists. Adding more incompatible mods can only bring problems if you don't know how to manually tweak necessary files...

The snapshot should be there...I'm pretty much sure that if you check setup notes one more time you'll probably find cause for your issues and find instructions quite simple and strait forward...
