There is a rudder control on SH4. There is a tab underneath your compass gauge. Click the tab and the compass gauge changes to show the rudder position. Thanks. I had found the rudder control accidentally, just by noticing the help notice when my mouse was over the tab, but did not know about the center button. That will make it a lot better. The manual just talks about steering with the compass, which I found annoying. I think I will spend a fair amount of time in the tutorials, especially the torpedo tutorial, before starting a campaign. Manual torpedoing is very complicated.
