Hi Oscarant

TDW’s Options File Editor Viewer (OFEV) is now a standalone and is no longer used connected to the mod.

See my tutorial Post #6

The YouTube videos that you see were using the current mods at the time but when viewed now are well out of date.

OHII is a Campaign mod

OHII v2.2 has been updated several times plus patches and the current version is v2.5.

When you read the current readme for v2.5 you can see that the issues that were in v2.2 and later versions have been corrected.

One of the problems v2.2 had needed sobers add on terrain fix mod to correct it.

Another big problem up to v2.2 was single merchants at full speed where you could not catch them.

The map marker in v2.4 was also an issue corrected in v2.5.

Stoianm’s video’s uses 6-9-0 where as to day we have 7-5-0 test version 18

Many of the older mods that you see being added to OHII and TDW’s current version were never made to work with these later mods and are often not compatible.

OFEV changes needs to be made with TDW’s NewUI disabled in JSGME.

If you have a large mod list the easiest way to move them is by using a mep file.

I am not aware of what you mean by this Quote > but the DarkWAith interface has handy extra depth buttons on the left.

The default Enhanced interface in TDW's New UI shows the icons similar to the stock version but with the addition of the snorkel icon below the periscope one.

If Decks Awash is enabled then an additional icon is also added underneath the surface icon.

If the depths gauge x 5 multiplier is used then the depths gauge changes to different colours.

7-4-2 is perfectly ok to replace 6-9-0 and is an updated version of 7-4-0.

If you feel the need for more manual control of your u-boat then you need to use 7-5-0 with TDW’s Generic File Patcher version 168 with added changes also being made where necessary in the OFEV.

TDW's Generic File Patcher is also a standalone and no longer used connected to the mod.

With both the OFEV and the GFP being independent of the mod are very useful tools as they can be put in a convenient place for making changes.
