It is formulated in his Last Will. The criterion for the peace prize is this line: it should be rewarded

That'S it.
Protecting the environment? Social justice? Women's rights? Plans and hopes for a peaceful world? Idealistic promises? Socially revolutionary economic changes like micro credit banks (now under heavy fire, btw)? Forming a continental economic union? Fighting poverty?
All this the peace nobel prize is NOT for.
