I'm not sure if this extends to the rest of the state but in "Happy valley", people tend to leave their front doors and garage doors unlocked, making it REALLY easy for burglars. In fact I read an article on KSL some time ago saying burglarly was on the rise because people make it easy for them.
On the other hand, i'm guessing every 1 out of 2 people are gun owners after the "Great Gun Store run of 2013", so no, they probably wouldn't make it very far if the owners home.
