There's been speculation on the internet forever now about a "Second American Civil war". More conspiracy and anti-government stuff from the fringe really. However, as time goes by I have found myself from outright dismissing that talk to wondering if it could actually happen. Only, maybe not so much as a second civil war, but a "Second American Revolutionary war.
Especially when we have Congressman like Jerrold Nadler who has said that the
"state ought to have a monopoly on legitimate violence.”
What's iinsane is he thinks that a.) we have machine guns, and b.) that he thinks the whole all volunteer military will be on his side against the people.
In any event, the words, "state ought to have a monopoly on legitimate violence", that is a seed of tyranny no matter how you slice it.
