Here's an updated torpedoes .sim file with all premature detonations removed from the T1 torpedo:

Backup your old one first (\data\Library\torpedoes_g7a-e.sim) and place on your desktop
Extract and place in \data\Library and let it overwrite the old one.
Play game. See if your problem is still there with T1 torpedoes.
