Sorry for the confusion.....that was poorly stated.
A dual boot. Windows 7 and Windows XP on one computer.

By "you have to give up SOMETHING" I meant that just upgrading to Windows 7 it is inevitable that you will have a retro
something that you just can't get to run.
For me it is SH3.
I do not have a dual boot setup.
