Yes, I'm afraid that the mod kicks in after campaign restart.
Because the repair times seem to change everytime somewhat, it's not so simple to test it. I have my own campaign going, and the mod didn't seem to affect it (tested results in harbour ramming docked ships at full speed

). Then I started a new campaign, did some test, and the repair times were now like they should be, it took several hours or even days to fix damages. Results were the same that I got from single mission tests.
I'm hoping that when you are given a new u-boat, the game loads the new repair times, but not sure about this. Have to play the campaign further. Maybe some wiser SH 5 modder can shed some light on this matter, when the equipment.upc is loaded into the game, and is there a way to inject it in the middle of the campaign?
