If the mission editor is telling you you have errors then they do have an effect on the game. Think about it: why would the mission editor say hey this is an error if it didn't really matter
You shouldn't be releasing something with known errors in it. You should at a minimum put a disclaimer with the mod saying has errors in mission editor and you don't know why.
