I finally did get a report where it looked like I could get in front. Of course there is pea soup fog, the only way to track was underwater. Both torps hit, I dove, slowed and changed course to match the carrier hoping I had at least slowed it down. I guess I did not because I never saw it again and the task force just kept on sailing, out pacing me quickly. Should have fired a full spread, lesson learned. Looking back, I may have been able to chase on the surface the fog was so thick. Knee jerk reaction to use depth as your best defence I guess. I was never attacked and as far as I could tell the escorts never reacted to the assumed hits on the carrier.
So I guess its a tie, it is intense though, all those war ships looking for you.
