Yeah, he got Mark 28's and some of the first Cuties off the run i think. None of the 28's ran properly, but he did sink a smallish ship with a cutie.
If i remember correctly, the 28's operated correctly when tested in deep water, but once given to fluckey the shallow water where he was operating caused them to home in on echoes off the bottom. You'd think the BuOrd would learn minimal testing was bad >.<
As far as O'kane having torpedo issues goes, i would wager awful issues is something of a understatement
