Same here. The driver must be feeling far worse than anyone else involved and he'd also have to go though the full investigation etc. as well. the staff on the station platform swung into action very quickly and the response was pretty quick by the emergency services as well.
I hope it wasn't bookworm_020. I know he's a train driver here in Sydney whcih reminds me, has anyone heard from him recently. Don't recall seeing any posts from him in a while.

I saw 2 truck drivers get hit by trains years ago in two different accidents
outside of where I worked at the time.
We all ran out to do what we could but it was very bad in one instance.
The other, the driver was very luck and waded away through several feet of female products.
Both sights were very un-nerveing.
Everytime I cross that crossing I kind of flash back somewhat.
I try to avoid going that way if at all possible to this day.
I also can not go down the female products isle at stores any longer!
