I've come close to sharing similar experiences, but the argument always remains the same: "The cops suck and <drone drone blah blah blah> *patooey*!!"
One thing I will say is this; they were there for us when we really needed them, and I will always carry that gratitude with me. "Thank you, whoever you are." ... I never did get their names.
