Uh, that was what I was trying to explain. You'll need to go 1/3 to 2/3 pretty well the whole time until you get a contact to chase.
That would mean the whole way t the Philippines from Freemantle, and on the way back too. That's one of the reasons I started looking for a mod. Now I can run at standard the majority of the time and even sprint to Midway on full speed sometimes (If I still have lots of fuel after a quick patrol), then refuel and sprint to Pearl Harbor.
