In my opinion, SH3 still looks quite nice and I've never been one for eye-candy simply because more eye candy = reduced gameplay values (obviously not in every case though)

It seems delevopers who concentrate on graphics tend to place gameplay and realism at a secondary position. Someone over at Ubisoft seemed to think a game needs to look outstanding in order to keep up with todays gaming market and to appeal to a wide audience.
This is an obvious blunder, I know people who have X-Box360 and still play Resident Evil 1 (PS1 version) because its such a damned good game.

I'll gladly play SH3 till im 90 years old, even though it has many bugs and quirks I am totally comfortable with them, I know SH3 like its an old but eccentric relative. Its been a part of my life for so many years that I'll never leave it behind for something thats a little prettier.
