Even though you can't take them in, it's so easy to get attached.
There are two that hang around my apartment/flat. They must be abandoned.
I give them food and water, but can't take them in because,
1: There's a one pet limit per apartment/flat.
2: Although my dog makes a great truckin' buddy, I dare not try it with a cat.
They're both good cats. These are the only two cats I have ever experienced that accompany my dog and me on our walks.
The older one, with a bobcat paintjob doesn't like to be picked up, but the younger of the two is totaly differnt. She climb's up my leg (ouch) and inside my coat, where she'll purr no end. She's black, with white hands, legs, and chest.
My dog is the coolest (dutch smoushond). He still shows the ferral cats who's king, but lets these two do anything they want. He provides full protection from both dogs (which are promptly chased out of his kingdom) and ferral cats.
It's got to be a comical sight to see one man, one dog, and two cats, walking in a tight formation.
Too bad I'm not back in DK. A trip across Kattegat with them, to Bittles, would have been so right. That's been on my mind since his thread.
