Guys, it was announced months ago. Digital Trucker has things going on in his life that are a lot more important than decorating the conning towers of virtual submarines, as great as those are. He announced he would have to step away for personal reasons. Sqk7744 has been away for longer than that.
When he left, DT carefully laid out the tools of the trade, asking for someone to step up and take over the Battleflags project. No one did. TwinStack, I hereby nominate you, if you're willing, to step in here and work your great magic as you see fit. You certainly have the talent and the eye for detail it entails.
Unfortunately, when someone volunteers to help, sometimes others take it upon themselves to demand service as a right. There is no right to confiscate the time and life of a volunteer. I think we should discuss nicely what's going on here, if anything IS going on. And we should do it with appreciation for the time and skills (if any) which are offered. You guys are my friends. You know I'm not saying this to be nasty.
It's fun to work on something of your own volition and offer it to the community. It is NO FUN to then be subject to the demanding masses squawking for service and attention. That is the number one reason for modder burnout.
