During my one career in the Med the flyboys were beating me to ships! I didn't send any contact reports, but several times just as I was setting up my shot either submerged or on the surface they would show up and blow the ship out of the water!  |
Those were probably already scripted in but the Med is so small that there should be a greater chance because of the reduced range needed.
As pointed out earlier...sighting an air attack on merchants is few and far between.
