German new ship release thread

Hi all
Over at the German Ubi forum they have a mod thread similar to ours but on page one is a list of the majority of new ships released with download links

May be worthwhile bookmarking it and having a look regulary for new models

The merchants just need to be added to the Sea and Roster files with the englishnames text updated - read the readme's included
No need to do anything else
The warships the same but also do as you did for the Roma in the scr

If you need a hand someone is always around to help out

Am just installing AG124 Pryo ammo merchant on to my game in the readme it says.
If you are using NYGM, then replace the .zon file in the NAMM folder with the one in the 'NYGM COMPATIBLE ZONE FILE' folder.
Iam using GW but does the above tex relate to the damage model you are using? As GW uses NYGM's damage model.
Thanks for any help.

Kudos to our fellow Kaleuns in germany. The amount of ships they produce makes us really happy!!:rock:
An amazing output of cools ships. The next update of the Mega-mods will be quite full of them i presume!:rotfl:

They are not all German made ships :nope: - a lot of them are done on here :yep: but that link is almost a one stop shop of where to D\L them

Hopefully the next major release will have most of the latest ones in

I've observed that thread many times as well, and think it is very good idea. However, there were a couple of problems with my section on that thread. In the first post, the picture that is posted for the Pyro is actually another picture of the Empire Celt. Also, I have a lot more WIP ships than are listed there - same thing with Iambecomelife. But it can be hard to keep track of WIP ships.

I can't speak German, so I can't point these things out there. But here is the bulk of my WIP list if anyone wants to show it to the maintainers of that thread (one or two are already there):

Belize Freighter
Caribou Passenger/Cargo
E.G. Seuber Tanker
Granville Freighter
Heavy Merchant
Kyle Coastal Mechant
Lake Ship
Lord Strathcona Cargo
Meigle Coastal Merchant
Nipiwan Park Tanker
Small Japanese Tanker
"Unnamed Tanker" (to be named later)

If anyone could do that for me, and point out the Pyro error, I would appeciate it. Thanks.

Hi AG
Have posted your message on the forum for you
You could have done it in English - as I have
It seems Roland Fischer updates the thread and he speaks English very well
Better than my German :rotfl:

Thanks. Didn't know I could post English there though. :hmm:

Can I install all those ships with the jsgme enabler ? Wouldn't want to mess up my newlly installed game....I tend to mess it up from time to time.

AG124 08-09-06 07:47 PM

Most ships are JSGME compatible, some are not. Mine are among those which are not, but if you know the file path, you can set up the JSGME installation files yourself.
