Torpedoes going right through ships?

Im using the SH3 and Grey Wolves updated mods, and I am attacking am armed trawler. The seas are pretty rough, but my torpedoes keep going right through the trawler.

They are set to minimum depth and I am following the torps with the external cam or watch on the event cam and the torps are literally passing right through the hull.

I saved the game before I had started to attack (wife kicked me off the computer last night!), so I can go back and keep playing the attack over. I've done it 5-6 times now, with same results.

I can understand if the torps are passing under the hull due to rough waters, but the graphics show them passing right through the hull.

Anyone else running into this?

Good grief. :o

I can only guess its a glitch in the dm. Maybe lehmann or someone from the gw team can find a solution to this.

There was a bug in GW 1.0 about the armed trawler, but was fixed on version 1.1

I'm running GW 1.1 updated; I'll try to get some screenshots.

Thats not missing or going right through! Its the new type of armed trawler that comes with side propellers for quicker turn arounds! :rotfl:

:hmm:

Seems like the 1.1 update was not installed correctly.

1. Go to your mods folder and check if it has the following structure

SilentHunterIII/Mods/GW 1.1 Update/data/...

If under the Grey Wolves update 1.1 folder you don't have a /data folder, then disable with JSGME, fix your structure and enable it again.

I have that structure in my mods folder. It appears the GW update 1.1 is running correctly -- I believe the tick-tock from the clock in the command room was added with the 1.1 upate? I can hear that when playing, and I'm also running the optional Tanker IV Seafloor mod that is in the update. Also, by clicking on the watch officer icon I can directly request a weather report, which I believeis a GW 1.1 feature.

I've just started playing recently and installed GW mod (all six parts) and the update 1.1. I had been running only SH3 Commander before that, so I can confirm the game has been updated to the GW mod. Before installing GW I did a clean install of SH3. Now I am currently running GW mod plus update 1.1, SH3 Commander, and the Tanker IV Seafloor mod. These are all being run through JSGME.

Perhaps there's still a bug in GW 1.1 regarding the armed trawler?
