NYGM and the scoring of neutrals
Has anyone who is playing the NYGM Tonnage War Mod tried making the following changes to Basic.cfg?
FROM: [RENOWN] RenownReachGridObjCompleted=0 ;500 RenownPatrolGridObjCompleted=0 ;200 CompletedPatrol=0 ;100 NEUTRAL=-1 ALLIED=1 AXIS=-1 ;-10 WrongShipSunk=-10000 FirstRankRenown=100 SecondRankRenown=350 EndCampaign=0 ;-5000 - Not sure about this value TO: [RENOWN] RenownReachGridObjCompleted=0 ;500 RenownPatrolGridObjCompleted=0 ;200 CompletedPatrol=0 ;100 NEUTRAL=0 ;-1 ALLIED=1 AXIS=-1 ;-10 WrongShipSunk=-10000 FirstRankRenown=100 SecondRankRenown=350 EndCampaign=0 ;-5000 - Not sure about this value I'm thinking that this might prevent a loss in total tonnage when neutrals are sunk. So if you sink a neutral, you don't gain or lose anything. I guess there's only one way to find out! :up: |

In addition to the excellent ground work that jason885, Stiebler has done an excellent job of filtering out the 'soon to be' neutrals. If we removed the penalty for sinking neutrals then that would lead to every ship in the ocean is a target, one of my pet hates of AOD. |
:hmm: Why just don't change value for neutrals to be 1? I used it with RuB. You know, you don't HAVE to sink neutral loners, but if they hapen to belong to the convoy... then no cease fire anymore :hmm:
