Corregidor B-29

Couple long outstanding issues....looking to rectify for this release but stumped.

1. Corregidor. I've attempted to make it so base temporarily transfers homeport there December 19-30 1941 prior to base shifting to Java, as Cavite/Manila area were untenable due to near daily air raids.

I entered coordinates as did for many other new bases but always have an issue. Frustrated why every other one works, but not here.

Entry:

[Flotilla 2.Base 1]
ID= Cavite Navy Yard
NameDisplayable= Cavite Navy Yard, Philippines
Info= CaviteNavyYard-Base-Info
ExternalBaseName=Cavite Navy Yard
AvailabilityInterval= NULL, 1941-12-19
DepartureDescription1= 14508785, 1737912, 179.166
DepartureDescription2= 14508785, 1737912, 179.166
DepartureDescriptionOut1= 14449908, 1711216, 276.175903

[Flotilla 2.Base 2]
ID= Corregidor Island
NameDisplayable= Corregidor Island, Philippines
AvailabilityInterval= 1941-12-20, 1941-12-30
DepartureDescription1= 14470476, 1726386, 329.117 ; Enum of available points, choose one randomly each time a patrol is started
DepartureDescription2= 14470476, 1726386, 329.117
DepartureDescriptionOut1= 14449908, 1711216, 276.175903

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

2.) B-29 Superforrtress

Wondering if any of out talented modelers have every created a B-29 for this sim?

I have some a source and texture files, for SH 4 B-29 someone sent me years ago, but no clue what to do with them lol.

In TMO update a lot of the 1944-1945 lifeguard work, some B-29's flying (level) strikes if possible on home islands. Use B-24's currently to fill in, 29's would be nice for immersion.

I noticed a little difference in the two entries. Have you tried this:

[Flotilla 2.Base 2]
ID= Corregidor Island
NameDisplayable= Corregidor Island, Philippines
Info= CorregidorIsland-Base-Info
ExternalBaseName=Corregidor Island

AvailabilityInterval= 1941-12-20, 1941-12-30
DepartureDescription1= 14470476, 1726386, 329.117 ; Enum of available points, choose one randomly each time a patrol is started
DepartureDescription2= 14470476, 1726386, 329.117
DepartureDescriptionOut1= 14449908, 1711216, 276.175903

I added the two lines based on the other entry.

I have no idea what they do and I'm not sure if those lines link to other files, but it may help out.

Good Luck! :Kaleun_Thumbs_Up:

You need a NavalBase in the US_NavalBases.mis file, and the EXACT spelling (no leading spaces) in the Flotillas file, as ElCid97 pointed out. You do not need the "info" line, but if you add it, you do need to add an entry to the UPCLocalization.tsr file, else you can CTD from that... :salute:

That makes sense, thank you.

OK. Pretty sure I had that B-29 at one time.
I'll work on it for you. I am involved with some other work but I'll slip it in.

Thanks Jeff! Let me know if can help with anything from the TMO side.

I have the FBX file converted to obj file now. Gonna start cutting it up for import to a dat file. The textures kind of suck so I'll do an amateur job of fixing them. There's some UV work needed also so I'll address those.

Thanks for the efforts and update Jeff. Look forward to having a B-29 in TMO.
