Thermal layer modding
Hello are there any files which are responsible for thermal layer depth and etc.?
|
In the SH4 game, Data / Cfg / sim.cfg file does it, under the hydrophone and sonar headings. The 1.0 setting means "None", while a 3 setting cuts the sensors to 1/3 (roughly) of their ability - for the ASW that is, not the player... the player does not lose the ability to accurately hear the surface ships.

Ahhh... sorry 'bout that. You're looking for the "random" factor. I am not aware of that being touchable, much less where it would be found, whether the SHSim.act, EnvSim.act, or what... :salute:

like the O2 and CO2 consumption/production rates. like some of the weather generation and a great many other things. there are ACT files that seem to hold a great many secrets. cracking them and publicizing same is considered to be an act of piracy. mind how you go. :Kaleun_Salute: |
