Google and new regulation
I wasn't aware but it seems that when you use google, personal info is being sent to News Media, this may only concern Australians but thought I'd mention it here in case it effects others (or other countries).
Talk about "Big Brother watching"!! https://about.google/intl/ALL_au/goo...=middleslot-p2 |
Data collection, personal information of various search engine companies, authorities has been going on for many years. Some of these sell this on to another party. In addition, the authorities also want to know what habits and what you visit, the companies on their part then want to adapt to direct hard marketing to the user, however, there are methods to hide their presence and basically "sweep" the tracks away from their own activity, and thus you and others hide your activity on clearnet. No more "big brother watching".

Sad man me but because of my past I have a mix of what the goodies and the baddies use and atm everything is hunky dory but as hackers etc. evolve so must your countermeasures. Nothing is guaranteed foolproof but what you can do is make it as difficult as possible for the baddies. There are a select few on here who have witnessed the results. |
My posting about the VPN was because an awful lot of people seem to believe just a VPN will make them secure; many of us who have been around the InterWebs since it ran on steam are fully aware any really confident level of security is not down to just one tool, however the marketing of VPNs is geared to it being a sort of 'cure all'; I just wanted to point out to those who may be under such an impression that degree of caution is necessary and should be personally exercised...
