[REL] New Camera FOV & DC Shake
If someone like to have more FOV (field of view) inside of a sub like i do, here is a mod for that:
Without increased FOV: http://i63.tinypic.com/2l8x894.jpg With increased FOV: http://i68.tinypic.com/347v244.jpg Without increased FOV: http://i67.tinypic.com/29dtikm.jpg With increased FOV: http://i64.tinypic.com/4uyouu.jpg Without increased FOV: http://i63.tinypic.com/33eojs0.jpg With increased FOV: http://i64.tinypic.com/2h2qy46.jpg Also there is a new realistic depth charge shake effect but i was too lazy to make a video. https://media.gettingpersonal.co.uk/....jpg?width=400 Download link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/5tmbxj...6+DC+Shake.rar :salute: |

The camera.dat is different in WAC5. Can you make a compatible version for that mod?

Ok sorry...
Here is how you do it.. Go in cameras.dat and go in cameras.dat from wac5 and compare the values and change it..but you will have same results as just coping that file..i don't know what else to tell you... |

cameras.dat is altering more things than only the fovs at free cameras. So, for that kind of tweaks, it will be better to post (as a text) only the changes you made at the specific nodes of cameras.dat you tweaked. (explaining for each tweak the effecting area would be even better). That way , subsimers will be able to import and enjoy your changes in their current cameras.dat without screwing their setup. ps: have in mind that ,especially, free cameras's fov are rendering differently if you run the game at different resolutions. I mean that if you are ok with a free camera fov that you see at,for example, 1024x768 doesn't mean that it will have the same 'look' if you run the game at 1360(6)x768 or 1920x1080. So, you must also tell for what resolution your tweaks are made for. |
