Introduction

Hello fellow Captains!!!

Figured I'd introduce myself:salute:

I bought Silent Hunter 5 a few months back, after watching some youtube gameplay, but wasn't able to play it much due to owning a rather outdated computer.

I have since built myself a new rig and am excited to start playing SH5 again!! (also cant wait to see how amazing the game looks with all the mods installed:rotfl2:)

As for a little about myself I've always been highly interested in past wars in general and WWII specifically, although I must admit my "expertise" lies in aviation and armor, rather than naval combat.

Gotta say, this website made my day when I found it, really brings life to this game. Its really amazing to see what a few skilled people can do when they have a passion.:subsim:

It's even more amazing to see what a few unskilled people with a passion can do; for example unskilled Wilhelm II just had to have a navy to keep up with unskilled cousin George, declared unrestricted submarine warfare...and by and by...now we have :subsim:!
