1st mission, British coastal waters.
Disclaimer: complete noob
So I'm playing one of the first missions, where u go to the British coastal waters and sink shipping and patrol a 80km radius of the blue cross. So I've sank 24 ships, worth around 60k tonawanda. But the bar hasn't increased :/ is there a way to find out if there's a specific area I'm supposed to have moved on to? |

1: you have a legit copy of the game right? Because every ship sunk is synced with ubisoft server (DRM) so no legit copy=no sync :\. You may try to search online for solutions but someone, someone, told me that there's none avaible that works
2: try following THEBERBSTER tutorials as they are very useful 3: have installed mods? because some times you have to restart from bunker to have the game play right |
It's a real copy, from steam. But yes I'm using open horizons mod. I'll keep looking around thanks.

Are you allow U-Play to do on-line saves?
Once I turned that feature on, the bar not filling-up problem went away. By all means read what the Berbster posted (particularly about how you can adjust your tonnage totals in saved games)
If that seems too daunting, you might try restarting this mission (with U-Play on-line) |
Hi Revere
If you are currently playing on line then your games are being synced when you exit the game and start the game. You see a blue line. My advice would be to start your next game off line and this will take the game from your Saved Games folder. When you exit your game your Local Saved Game and Synced Games are now out of phase. When you start your game again Uplay will ask you whether you want to use Synced Games or Local Saved Games. Tick Local Saved Games. It does not matter then whether you play on line or off line as your game always loads from your Local Saved Games folder. Peter |
in my captain log under Primary Objectives
it says Complete Patrol Area Assigned. Reach the area and start operations. Attack any enemy contact. Incomplete Re position and continue Patrol Operations ? I went back to Kiel, and it wont let me end the mission :( Im just going to start a new campaign, im fresh into it anyways. when u say offline do you mean u play or steam? i have uplay to start up in offline mode atm. |
Have you been rebased?
Check the nav map and see where the Diamond with a sub icon is. That's your base. the BdU sometimes don't radio you when they change your home port. You SHOULD still be able to refit in order to make sure that you have enough diesel to get there.

ahh thank you yes i found my new sub mase in whielhem. is there a time before the next mission is put out? its december 2nd right now and i dont have any missions.

Hi Revere
I was referring to Uplay. Missions are date controlled and come on and drop off the Navigation Map automatically regardless of your situation. It is not necessary to select any Missions from the Flotilla Leader or Request Missions from the Navigation Map. The Campaign Icon showing on the Navigation Map will tell, and show you, all you need to know. You can end a Patrol each time you have to return to your base to re-supply. Start the same Mission again through the Flotilla Leader. Go the Flotilla Leader. What are my mission orders? Do not select number 1. Select number 2. Let’s start the new patrol. Are you sure you want to start the new patrol without choosing a mission? Select number 1. Yes. (As you already in the mission) You will notice each time you do this you will be able to distribute your earned Bonus Points from the last Patrol. If you prefer to distribute all your Bonus Points in one go then there is a mod called ‘Free Abilities’ that allows you to do this. Your previous Patrol records are kept and can be viewed in the Captain’s Log (Hat) at any time. The Tonnage Bar will still show any previous movements. If you have spare time while waiting for your next patrol to appear just go to where you like and anything you sink will add extra bonus points. Peter |
Ahh thank you very much. its all starting to make sense, apologies if these are basic questions but I cant seem to find answers in a simple google search :/ im learning a lot tho from the forums, and online on what im doing. now I just gotta figure out how to actually hit ships on the move with my torpedos. what a engaging game.

Here's a copy of the list that I've been using. It's NOT definitive. I've added a few notes and some of the dates have been changed based on what I've experienced) IC Value is the number of Iron Crosses that the mission is worth. I've added Tonnage goals where I've verified them: Campaign dates 31 August 1939 thru 09 May 1945 |
Thank you so much!
one more question...should be pretty simple. The patrol area assigned is the blue/gold cross right? or are there grid coordinates I should be at. |
