My name is Franklyn just call me frank :salute:. I just bought SH3 about 3 or 4 days ago from steam if anyone has a steam account look me up user name is strangemusic, any way i was first hooked on sub sims when i was knee high to a grass hopper going over to my grandpa's on the weekends and watching him play Silent Service 2 after awhile my dad who is Ret. Navy and Vietnam Vet started to play SS2 so now many years later i have SH3 amd i love it gives us one more thing to talk about and who can sink the most ships in a month lol




forgot to ask is this website like TWCenter were i have to post so many comments and such to be able to download mods ?

You can use TDW’Generic File Patcher with STEAM see my Tutorial Post #125

so do i need TDW’Generic File Patcher in order to download mods for Silent Hunter 3 ?

No, TDW's GFP is only for SH5.

You need to install JSGME to be able to use mods in your game.

I need some help from some one please, I have been on Subsim for about 3hours been trying to download a mod for silent hunter 3 but every time I try I get a message slowdown cowboy trying to download to fast I have waited well over an hour before trying to download it again but I get the same message and I have donated to this sit what am I doing wrong ?
