Tonnage bar
Hello together!
I'm a SH5 player since a couple of months and I am suffering from the tonnage bar problem, too. I followed all your discussions about that issue, but it seems to me, that it still remains unsolved. Is there any 'official' solution meanwhile? Have you found a way to get over it? Greeting from Germany U-Mensch |

The answer to your question is no. There has been quite a lot written about this on Subsim posts including quite a lot from myself. I have gone from 0% to over 90% success rate. Part of the problem is that we are not all experiencing the same situations in the game. The only thing common to us all is that the bar does not fill either none of the time or some of the time. The other question is why do only some of suffer it and not all of us? I would suggest that you look through the posts and post your future problems to the most popular as this will benefit all of us being able to keep tabs on how things develop. Peter |

Thank you very much for that overview and the warm welcome! All in all, it still remains a riddle... At least, the brute force method of editing my save games just worked fine. I stay offline all the time and whenever the tonnage bar does not count, I edit my last save manually. Just feels like completion of a achievement form for the BDU. Can you imagine how it was sinking the Queen Mary during the British supplies mission and the tonnage bar didn't move at all :o Now I nearly completed the mission by sinking just one ship... Thanks for your help! |
