Introduction

Greetings to all sub simmers!,

I have been gone for quite a while and now I have returned. I decided to blow the dust off my SH4 and give it a go again. Now I have fallen in love with it once more. I have also discovered that there have been quite a few changes to this game since I first bought it when it first came out not to mention all the beautiful mods you all have created, I am currently using RFB. I also see that there is a new add on to this game, the U Boat Missions. I have a question on this add on, will it still allow me to play the campaigns from the U.S. starting on Dec. 8, 1941 or will it just allow me to play German campaigns? I am told recently that SH4 version 1.5 is the way to go and that everyone is playing that ver. I will probably get it as well but I do enjoy my U.S. subs. Also I am very happy to be back and look forward to speaking with you all. Well that is enough scuttle butt from an old retired squid.. Thanks for reading my intro, take care and have fun.

Sincerely,
Captain Diver.

Welcome back! Yes, version 1.5 will definitely allow you to play the American campaign. Most of the mods are designed with that goal in mind actually.

Welcome back :) In the best traditions of repeating info - The U-boat missions add on is just that. It contains the latest game patch and a German far east campaign, but it still gives you all the options for a US career that you had before. Also most mods are written for v1.5....
