Back to SH4
 

Hello everybody from an oldtimer, back to SH4 after a long time. Given that my original retail copy of SH4 is gone (no idea where I placed it) - I purchased the game again. From Ubisoft's website I was redirected to Uplay, where I found SH4 for 9.99 EUR and Uboat missions for 4.99 EUR. Bargain. I downloaded the kits and installed them (not via Uplay, but standalone downloadable kits). I hope these are the correct versions.

Please bear with me, lots of things have changed and I used to know mods and all, now I feel like I'm beginning from scratch.

So, I downloaded and installed the standalone Sh4, noticed it was 1.3 version. I assume that after I also install the Uboat missions, it will be patched to 1.5 - correct ? Is this the correct version of the game to play ?

Also - in the past I used to play TMO. I am not a hardcore player, I enjoy graphics, all eye candies, possible, but I like automatic map updates, automatic torpedo solutions, etc. I remember enjoying very much the real sinking mechanics mod, is this included in any major mod currently out there ?

I have read the major mods thread, but I am still a it in the fog here. Shall I play RFB + RSRD ? Do any of these include the sinking mechanics ? Thank you all.

Thank you for your comments. For now I am playing in the attached configuration, which works flawlessly and I like it. Only thing I would add for the moment are some sub skins ( I kinda dislike the dark grey), do you know of any mod that does this ? Thank you.
