Just returned to SH5...CTD
 

Hi guys!I decided yesterday to play SH5 after more than a year,so after some mod quest(the development in the mods after the last time i checked them is surely impressive-great work,that's what i love in this forum) and i tired to start a new career,after completing the tutorial with an unmodded game.Keep getting ctd while in the career loading screen,just after i selected 'Coastal waters'.
I modded with fifi's mod list as my guide and i get the following error

Be aware that those lifeboats modes give me sim.act CTD most of the time...

It seems that i've had the same problem in the past,I found an older post of mine refering to the same problem.A lot of guys suggest that the problem is C++ 2008 redistributable and it should be uninstalled.Well i just did so an i reverted back to C++ 2005 but...CTD again!:damn:

Yes i did,ctd again unfortunately.Does anybody have a suggestion?

Just tried to start a career in the vanilla game and it started just fine.So it must be a mod situation :(

Try to remove colored mods. If that solves your problem, then start to add one by one mod.

This is important: every time you reinstall your modlist you should repeat these steps...

CTD Scenario 6:
- Famous CTD when you use "silentotto" cheat to start new campaign.
- You have recently make changes in your modlist(added new mod, reinstalled modlist), or you changed values in TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py without use of OptionsFileEditorViewer.exe
- Commonly folowed by msvcr90.dll CTD
Cause:
- ...
Solution:
- Go to data/Aplications/OptionsFileEditorViewer and start OptionsFileEditorViewer.exe, set correct path for menu.txt(data/menu/menu.txt) and correct SH5 installation path.
- Click top "open" and browse data/scripts/menu for TheDarkWraithUserOptions.py. Make enleast one change, just in case...Save

TDW NewUi and OHII do not like Stormy’s mods so ctd’s will occur.

Well after long tests i found out what the problem was.
Silentmichal's interior mod 1.24 caused the ctd(pity because it's a great mod).Thanks for your help vdr1981!:salute:

Probably interior mods incompatibility...How did you came to the conclusion those mods are compatible in the first place? :hmmm:

I have been playing my latest career for over a week with not 1 ctd . Sobers mega mod . Don't say it is my modlist when its not .

Hi Sober.I used Fifi's mod list because it's the one i used the last time i played the game.

i am at happy time mission atm and no cdt's at all with your mod list ....
idk why someone else have ctd's....
i have bin send to unkle Neal from where can download your mods to update it the bonus download Sober all in one.
