Swedish transitvestites
More than a dozen male employees working for the Roslagsbanan train services in the Swedish capital have been wearing skirts in order to keep cool.
One of the drivers, Martin Åkersten, explained that temperatures can hit 95F (35C) in the train cab during the summer. Uniform regulations by the train company Arriva state that skirts or long trousers are acceptable. At a meeting last year, drivers were told that shorts were not allowed. They have given their blessing to the men wearing skirts however. "To say anything else would be discrimination," Thomas Hedenius, the communications head, told the local Mitti newspaper Source: telegraph.co.uk http://img.mtv3.fi/mn_kuvat/mtv3/uut...max931x556.jpg |

A kilt would be more appropriate don't you think?
Nice word play on the thread title, Spoon.:salute: |
I think I look pretty good when I wear one of my wife's dresses, it's her panties that I have problems with.:yeah:

Do not see why they cannot wear uniform shorts. Health and safety in a skirt/kilt would be the same as shorts, both have exposed legs.:06::06: |

Uniform shorts, just above the knee if they are concerned about "propriety," would be a much better option all around. If you're worried about health & safety with regard to exposed leg, favoring a knee length skirt over knee length shorts is just ridiculous. Skirts allow far more possibility of exposure. I'm not saying they should disallow them for that reason, but make shorts an option for both sexes. |
