Hi guys.
Thanks to Trevally for steering me onto a megamod on it's way for SH3 :yeah: http://www.u-boot-hahd.com/ Check it out if you were unaware of this site but big apologies if I'm well behind the times and everyone already knows about it :hmph: Good hunting :subsim: |

Aw,
Once again trapped in the old news syndrome. Oh well, news to me. DavidI |
Hi HW3.
Thanks for the link. I've been surfing the net for info about HAHD only to eventually come across the sticky in the mod workshop part for sh3. I don't usually go in there. How stupid do I feel? :/\\!! However I can't wait for Hans to complete his awesome work. Very much looking forward to it. For me it could be what I would consider sh6 :hmmm: |

No problem guys!:)
The mod workshop is where new mods are previewed/released for download, so it is a good place to browse around in.:yep: :subsim: |
Will HAHD be compatible with GWX?

Hi Guys,
I have been immersed in SH5 for quite a while now and having just recently found out about this HAHD mod from the SH3 Mod Workshop thread. I spent the best part of 6 hours reading all the comments on this thread on this mod. Since it was first started back in 2010, over the past few years, it has become much more than what was first intended to be. It seems that Hans who started work on this as a one man band was making many graphical improvements for the Type IIA and eventually Type VIIB/C and so on, as well as improving the dockside scene a Wilemshaven, but has now got together a small team of modder's, to turn this into a proper super mod in its own right. Apparently it won't be compatible with GWX or any of the other super mods. Looking at all the videos on the progress so far, this mod is really going to bring SH3 to another level. I will leave you to decide for yourselves, but it looks like that when it is finally released, I will be installing SH3 again, as personally, I do like SH3 much better than SH5 for a number of reasons, it's just that SH3 lacks the same graphics and the ability to wander through the boat and interact with the crew, that is lacking, but I think this HAHD mod will make a lot of difference to SH3 both graphically, historically, more immersive and breath some new life into this simulator. |

Thanks for that Kelly, it seems I have a lot of catching up to do since I last played SH3. This interior mod looks great, just downloaded FM Interiors V2.1 Now just like in SH5 I will be able to go through the boat, even if I can't talk with the crew, they never have anything new to say anyway, so I can live with that. I think my SH5 sub is due for a long refit anyway, so I will get SH3 back in commission again.
