These two were on GMA (good morning america) this morning with the news that she was the first important vip person the new pope had received,
but they went on to say that while he was just a cardinal they had been at odds with each other over something undisclosed.

Sounds like she is saying to the pope, "hey if you treat me right on this favor then I will treat you right"

This pope has a lot going for him that's for sure, but is it God?

Add to that fact that islanders recently voted on this issue. In referendum whether to keep current overseas territory status 99.80% voted 'Yes' (1513 votes) while 0.20% voted 'No' (3 - three - votes).

Ireland voted for Home rule, never happened.
Ireland voted for independence, never happened
some in the six counties are pushing for another vote, no matter what the vote the result may never be enacted and they may vote again and again and it may never get enacted.
Hong Kong never even got to have a vote on their status.

The Falkland vote means just what it says on the day, on the morning after it becomes irrelevant apart from as a historical reference.

I doubt many men have kissed her at all, apart from blind ones.

Hong Kong was only on 'Lease' to Britain, the contract stated when & on what terms that 'Lease' would end.
