How do I maintain a target lock when..

lowering my periscope? Sometimes when I lower the scope, and then raise it a few minutes later (which is good SOP), the game treats the target ship like a new ship - i then have to re-identify it etc..

i'm using sobers mega mod list and am playing on full realism.

As far as I've seen V you are correct. Once you lose Lock you need to reaquire and Lock again, even if it is the same target.

Death to Lock functionality!!! haha

Yeah, lowering periscope will loose the locks, but NewUIs will remember the boat identification. Just have to press space bar again, that's all.
You even can get multiple identifications done, and just passing from one to an other with space bar, you get each boat info back automaticaly :yep:

In TDW fileviewer, i've set the soan charts to open at each locks. Very usefull!
