Thank you Gap goblin editor works fine

i also discoverd that .FX are HLSL source code and they're just plain text files
,for short you can open them with notepad.

Working with uboat files, I found there are 2 types of .fx files in the game.

1) are easily opened with a texteditor or can be imported into FX Composer (I believe TDW recommended this tool).
2) others - not even close. I'm still not sure how to edit them or open them.

Okay, at this point I think there is an equivocation. Thank you Targor for pointing me to it :yep:

Yes, these ones are game shaders, and have nothing to do with the next ones, except their extension, indeed :03:

This ones are dat (binary) files. They contain SH controllers, and they can be opened with Goblin Editor, by merging them with their corresponding dat/GR2 file

So for short notepad for shaders
Goblin for controllers

Right :D

lol... You are right, gap :)

I just consider Goblin as a default thing, just accepting it as normal.
