German Knight 10-02-12 03:48 AM

Hello from Berlin/Germany

Hello SubSimmers,

I startet with SHI several years ago and play SHII GWX gold on 90% reality
on my PC. Then I went too SH2 and turned to SH3 three years ago and added GWX.

My main pleasure is to hunt destroyers, fregats and corvetes :arrgh!:. My name "German Knight" is because I love the song: Ritter der Nordsee... Knights of the North Sea:

Now I want several things more:
1st
I want to game online together with other gamers

2nd
I have ordered the SH5 DVD version and want to mod it to a standard as SH3 GWX

3rd
I will try to bring in my historical (model)shipbuilding skills for the british frighters and coasters - we have got too less coasters around the british islands - coal trade was very importand for London - Gasworks had hundeds of Colliers and "Flatirons" coming down from the North to the River Thames and were hard to sink when in ballast on their journey back. But I have nearly no skills in CAD software.

My signature comes from the idea to fight for Germania - here the english text "reanactment" :03::
LOHENGRIN
I am sent to stand champion
for a maid calumnied
by a grievous charge. Now let me see
if I find favour in he sight.

So this from me and here,

Yours
Jan

Welcome German Knight!

To your 2nd Point: try this Modlist: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=192374
it is not a Mega Mod like GWX, but stable and with the most eye candy since my Navy Time. :D

Viel Spass.

Coming up again...

Thanks a lot to all of you - here I'm again (two retina-surgeries later  )

But still alive.. I tested my possibilities yesterday.
So & now I want to start with Dönitz Elite"Corps" on an unsunken boat number - U 37 a Type IX boat.

Your Subsim screen name
: german knight
Your U-Boot Commanders name Kptlt. Heinrich Schuch
Your U-Boot number U-37 Typ IX (4 Aug 1938 comm. - 8 May 1945 scutt.)
Your heraldic device Poseidons Trident
Number of hours per week you play SHIII? about 4-10
Do you have any web design experience? no, sorry, nothing

U-37 originally enlisted this succsesses:
53 ships sunk, total tonnage 200,124 GRT
2 warships sunk, total tonnage 2,404 tons
1 ship damaged, total tonnage 9,494 GRT
U-37 retiered to a schoolboat from the front to Pillau on 30 Apr 1941 and was scuttled under Eberhard von Wenden at Sonderburg Bay on the 8th of May 1945.

Werner Hartmann and the I.WO(?) with Trident on the forage cap

But I can offer historical infornation about coasters and colliers - inclusive scaled and coloured drawings!

Hopefully I'm not too late to embark...

Yours,
Jan -the german knight.
