Where to go from here
 

Okay so I have OHII installed. I have no clue what mods to install from here. Would anyone care to give a few recommendations for what mods to install from here, and in what order?

I really need better periscopes, better sounds, perhaps a bit darker environment... etc

Thanks, I began downloading the mods from that list. I got to Sobers best ever fog, and then I reached my daily download limit. I will be finished downloading that list in about a week with the current download limit. Maybe next week I am able to install all of them :wah:

I can download 10 files a day from here. I have 54 mods remaining to be downloaded, I need 6 days to acomplish that. I'm married before that happens :D
This shows the importance of merging small mods into larger mods. I am a fan of large mods. There are many large mods already of course and that is awesome.

Unless someone can download the rest for me and upload it in a single file? I really want to play that list tonight.

Btw, is it absolutely necessary to use TDW unofficial 1.3 patch for this list of mods to work properly?

All these mods aren't at the subsim d/l section only.. some of them are at the gamefront and some at the mediafire..

I think, it's necessary to use for any list of mods and for the stock game too..
It's better then failure official patches..

Yes, but there are still quite alot of them that needs to be downloaded from this forum. Are there absolutely no alternatives for me to get these files tonight?

i think its 24 hours (not sure) so you might need to keep that in mind

there are a lot of mods that have other download locations (google search) so i suggest to people they get everythinbg they can that way then "save" the limited downloads here for the ones they cant get somewhere else.

and you should download and save all the mods so one day when your looking for them you can find them as well as they are very usefull for research and instruction when you do your own mods

Btw, I have this long time problem with blank white screens in my periscope view, is this a bug, is this a memory shortage or is it just a mistake I am doing in my mod. It seems to be gone when I uninstall my mod. What could possibly be messing up the periscope? My mod just adds the VIIC41 uboat to the beginning of the campaign...
