Cheese

We have discussed pizza, steaks and other food type. We have not had cheese on the menu.

There are several kinds of cheeses ranging from firm to soft spreadable cheeses.

What type of cheese do you like most

I prefer the cheese is very mild in aroma and mild in flavor
it doens't matter if the Cheese is firm or soft.

Longhorn Cheddar. With a sandwich, on crackers, with French Bread, or straight.

Haven't seen any Longhorn locally of late, so I have to settle for Very Sharp Cheddar, also good.

Harvati.

Old Mommark.

Both are Danish cheese, and very close in taste, look and consistene to each other. I kill for both. Harvati is the slightly milder version. They remind of Tilsit in looks and taste, just much stronger, spicey. Mommark easily becomes over-ripe if stored for too long, also is slightly softer, a bit like some sliced buttercheese. I eat them pure. They are too good to compromise their taste with anything else, bread or whatever. Mostly I fail to ration the ammount I bought, and eat it all in one rush. I just cannot help myself.

I forgot to tell you the type of cheese I use to buy, it's a cream cheese.

or sometime i buy ham, cheese, soft offcourse

King Island Dairy has some of the best cheeses on the planet bar none. My favourites:

Can't pick a favourite, but agree that King Island has some great cheeses.
Particularly the Roaring Forties blue, and the triple cream Brie.

Then I also love a good Stilton, Red Leicester, Havarti, Gouda (with cumin seed), a nice sharp vintage Cheddar (Watsonia do a nice one) and good old Hartze.

Cheese Slices would be on of my favourite TV series. Makes me sooooo hungry though.
