New realism mod idea
 
I have a mod idea for any modders wanting a challenge. One aspect of realism I have yet to see any of the SH games handle is the fact that when the external torpedoes are moved from the external stores to the internal storage, it should be impossible to dive because of the open compartments, the crew on deck and the winch erected to move the torpedo. To my knowledge, this has not been modeled, yet. I would like to see something like this because it naturally is more realistic as well as adds a new tactical dimension to the game.

Good Idea, and totally true, is a tactical fact that would be on count on future realism patches.

was modded long time ago... it is already included in one of tdw mods if i am not mistaken

I have most of TDW's mods and it isn't there. It must be in another mod.

i think was made by waikiry or something like this... is in the same mod that make the torpedo reload time more realist... and i am almoust sure that tdw included in 1 of his mods... or maybe in magnum opus... but that was moded

If TDW did one, it is probably in Magnum Opus. I do not have that mod loaded. I have his UI mod and a few other fixes loaded up.

If you want realism in the torpedo reloading, never reload when under attack - the steep dive angles could cause them to break loose and finish you. Never reload on the surface unless the weather is absolutly calm. I'm talking about regular internal reloads, of course.
