Spoiled by SH3, some questions moding SH5
 
I played a bunch of SH3 with the big Grey Wolves expansion and I loved it, so much that it actually spilled over to my brothers. Now one of them has been playing a bunch of SH5 and loving the updates the new engine brings it. So I figured it is time to move up.

Modding SH3 was pretty easy considering someone else did all the work for me in the GWX mega mod :DL Not so in SH5, although the magnum opus seems like it is coming along nicely. So after looking around the forums a bit I picked up the magnum opus mod and installed it(thanks to the excellent video tutorials from stoianm) but I noticed that the sonar man never verbally says any indication of contacts. I see there is a big thread about patching the exe and I was wondering which of these I need to use AND if there are any major fixes I need to use along with magnum opus?

I appreciate the help that this forum has but the amount of information is so overwhelming its had to get a grasp on it. Thanks in advance guys, especially all the modders.

Your best bet is to go through the Mod Loadout thread and check out other people's choice of mods. I recommend locating 0rpheus' comments since he has a link in his signature that takes you to his mod list which is very nice. Mia389 also has a great mod list in his signature with links to all the mods (very useful!).
