Oh yeah. Sailing back into port and tying up the boat is one of the highlights of the game for me.

Nothing more satisfying than getting back to port in one piece.

Even when I use Commander to "start at sea," more often than not I still sail all the way to the pen when I return.

I find that after a couple patrols starting from a new (or newly modded) base, I don't want to spend the time going all the way from pen to open sea on the way out. I'm too eager to get "out there" and head for my hunting grounds.

When I come home, I really enjoy sailing all the way back in.

I enjoy sailing in and out of the harbour. My favorite is Lorient. Of course, the return after a hard patrol is the highlight. :yeah:

I love torpedoing ASW trawlers. Got right behind a Polish one a few hours after the declaration of war and popped a magnetic under his stern. My gods! The explosion drove the entire trawler underwater instantly. I thought I'd vapourised it at first! Then it bobbed back to surface after 10-20s, drifting in the opposite direction.

I really wish I'd taken a few screenshots but I was too stunned by the sfx to think about it!
