Keyboard layout
 

Hi,

Someone here know a trick to change the keyboard layout of this game? I brought SH5 yesterday and I cannot play because I can't change the mapping. SH5 give me choice between Qwerty or Azerty.

I have a standard English Dvorak keyboard so the WASD don't fit. I tried to change the layout on my system but SH5 stay set the same as when my system is in Dvorak.

I found a file with the mapping here : .wine/drive_c/Ubisoft/Silent\ Hunter\ 5/data/LngGameData/KeyboardMapping/QWERTY/data/cfg/Commands.cfg but I don't know how to modify it.

Maybe I mod or something to edit this file in a automatic way exist?

:salute: The question I can not answer, but there are those who can here!

Here is a mod that changes some of the keys. I'm not sure it will get you everything you want if you need a total remap. But worth a try.

Mod - Command Keys 1.03

Also you can change each key yourself in the command.cfg as you already found. That would take a bit of work though. I list all the defualt keys along with there command lines in this thread.

Thanks for the tip. I just copied the commands.cfg file over the old one in data/cfg and it's working perfectly :D
