If there was one ting you could add to Silent Hnter 3, what would it be?

well, my one would be to have the AI fire torpedos at me, or real solid landmasses (where destroyers cant ping you)

1. realistic repair AND flooding times.

Mine would be;

1- 3D damage models

2- :sign_yeah:h.sie beat me...

3- Interior flooding and damage effects, i.e. fires, more water leaks.

4- Longer crush depth effects so you can hit the bottom with no way to surface and the boat slowly succumbs to pressure.

That'd make me happy.

One thing I have always missed is to be able to manage the engine, use them independantly, be able to use electric instead of diesel even when surfaced, etc.....
That is one of my big wish!

obviously more interior damage effects and easier to work with mod tools

Oh yes, and as for the underwater launched anti-aircraft missiles... might have a chance against those blasted Sunderlands and Catalinas :yep:

Virtual Torpedoes Firing AI Subs Beta


The mod was done three years ago for my own purposes but never tested it extensively.
It's based on Sergbuto's 'US S-class submarine mod' and 'Wolfpack mod v2.0'.

I only transfered the ability to fire virtual torpedoes from Wolfpack's german VIIa subs to the US S-class subs.
In principle it should be possible to apply that property to any AI sub or surface unit...

A little test mission is included which presupposes Sergbuto's 'German AI subs mod v2.0'.
