HMS Hood sunk today, in 1941.

Hmm, I supposed you're getting too much excited and post the thread first before finishing it :D
We will wait for your story :yeah: |
He's talking about real life. :03:

That was yesterday, 24th. Today is the 70th anniversary of the beginnings of Dunkirk...
...imagine, all those little boats, torps would have to run at 0.5m! :ahoy: |
Upon reading this thread I went into a cupboard in the house to look at a framed print I haven't had up for approximately 25 year, then looked up the artist, title etc.
What a shock I got when I googled the details in :o http://www.directart.co.uk/mall/more.php?ProdID=16029 I know I have the HMS Belfast print plus one or two others I never had framed, in a tube container up in the loft. http://www.directart.co.uk/mall/more.php?ProdID=3594 Going up there tomorrow :DL |
Oh gosh, that was an epic fail at reading.
Got used to fictional story :O: |
RIP to Ted Briggs (1923-2008) and all the rest of them.

Aft decking on the Hood was still wood, the Bismark fired AP plunging shells and a change in course resulted in her destruction. Makes you wonder what could have happen if the Hood was fully upgraded. :hmmm:
|
Hood isnt in the stock verstion, is it? For i would like to find her before the Bismark sinks her.
