[REQ] Enabling the TypII
I asked about it in a thread here because i didn't knew about it and even if i haven't managed to make it work.
I think would be a good addition and considered it would require "just" some work on the periscope regulation and crew waypoints, still not a impassable odd... Last but not the least: game range covers the most prolific time for TypII boots so it wouldn't be a useless addition either ;) P.s. feel free the yell at me if i asked too much :DL |
Its allready in there, but needs to be enabled:
\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat2a |
is the inside modeled? thats the only problem i can foresee

As an AI boat Just make a roster cfg for it and change Human playable to NO in the cfg *:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Submarine\NSS_Uboat2a Needs a lot of work even as an AI sub But moves etc so thats all good |
So no interiors... ?

*:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\data\Submarine\Common\Rooms Along with the waypoint info etc for each room |
I understand.
I hope with time someone will find a way to make it usable not to wait for a Ubisoft DLC for something that was to be ingame and left apart for timing reasons...;) |
Nice, The next is moddify the 3d model of a VII to add a IX boat
|
ok, heres a wild and crazy plan for the INTERIM:
what if the Types II and IX were added to the same spec standard as SH3? so, you get: the external graphics of the boats, modded bridge, control room [type 9 more similar to the later type 7s] performance accurate to the type. you just dont get the full boat interior just yet. is it plausable? |
