[TEC] Pinupgirl > Yougirlfriend
What do you need.
-Gimp/Photoshop -DDS plugin 1. First you delete or move the picture pinup.dds in folder data/textures/TNormal/tex/pinup.dds. 2. Than you make a new picture in Gimp and save it in /data/textures/TNormal/tex. And rename it in pinup.dds. But importent is make an alpha channel and make it black.(100% transparent) Or make the alpha channel and mix it with your picture.(alpha to color) 3. Now you can start the game and see your girfriend or your mother. :O: Example. http://gallery.me.com/michal788#100044 |

i think it would be sort of interesting to have the photo by the captains bed updated to reflect the wife or girlfriend.
|
Maybe your girlfriend next to your wife ? :D
|
If you find the texture of the other photos please tell me.
I didnt found it. |
The other photos (captains bed, radio station, small one near nav map and beside crewmen beds) are in
/data/Textures/TNormal/tex/various_books_posters_maps.dds Waiting for more pinup mods :|\\ |

Thanks for the tips :DL My poster got way to bright in the sub, and it's not that bright when I open it in Photoshop or Gimp, could it be an alpha-channel problem? I'm not sure how to make it in Gimp or Photoshop really, I tried some alpha-channel-options, but without success. Can you write e.g. how you did the alpha-channel/ saving in e.g. Gimp or Photoshop? |
Did you turn the alpha channel completely black? That might be the cause for it. The alpha channel in the original file isn't completely black, more like very dark grey. :hmmm:

Also, good thing to note is to open the files with mip maps and count how many mip maps there is, then when saving pick 'generate new mip maps' and input the amount from the original. Don't know if this has much effect on this pinup thing, but explosions etc. use these. |
